This blog and the encompassing Web site will one day be filled with stories, ideas, articles, reviews, and recipes related to my struggle to maintain an 80-pound weight loss (and hopefully lose 15 more) while not relying on foods such as Splenda, Cool Whip, or Borden’s Fat-free American Singles and at the same time really savoring the pleasures of food and cooking.
Most important, this site will be about enjoying the journey of eating for weight loss and maintenance–embracing it instead of merely enduring it. Finding new foods and recipes to love and rediscovering old favorites. Expanding knowledge about cooking and dining without expanding the waistline.
